Swift Thinking – Operator Overloading & JSON Parsing

This past Thursday, Keith Smiley gave the second talk of the Swift Language User Group (#SLUG) in Thoughtbot’s San Francisco office. He began his talk with an introduction and a very brief recap of the previous SLUG talk before focusing on a couple of key features in Swift.

This talk is currently discussed on Hacker News.

A few hours after Swift was announced at the 2014 WWDC, we already had one of the first Swift blog posts:How to make a simple tableview with iOS 8 and Swift. Our articles were read by over 100.000 people in the first month after launch.

We are really excited to see the massive number of people interested in learning Swift. Already there are over 15.000 Swift repositories on github!

We want to help as many people as possible to learn Swift and iOS development. Instead of writing a book we want to focus on writing tutorials and articles, so we can reach more people :)
